Chapter 3

“Hailey, I don’t know what’s happening, but, baby . . . I can’t get enough of you.” Liam growled the last as his desire overtook him. He began moving within Hailey one more time. His movements were slow and gentle at first, then as sensation became stronger and more intense, his thrusts became stronger, faster and harder.

Hailey raised her knees, so she could thrust as strongly as Liam. As their hips met, she smelled their arousal along with the remnants of Liam’s cologne. The combination, along with the sensations within her body became even more intense and she felt the beginnings of yet another body-melting climax. She felt like she was zooming to the top of a high roller coaster as she came. She screamed into Liam’s shoulder as her inner walls flexed and relaxed around Liam’s long, thick shaft.

Feeling Hailey’s newest climax, Liam shot his seed grunting, growling and letting out a low-voiced yell into the pillow. He rolled off of Hailey before his muscles turned to jelly. “I’m going to the bathroom. I’ll be right back,” Liam promised.

While he was gone, Hailey straightened out the love-tossed sheets and blankets. Climbing back into the bed, she marveled at the level of sensation Liam had coaxed out of her.

My God. I was a virgin until I met Liam. I never knew I had this much of a response inside me. Is that just due to the hot sex . . . or is it because I’m falling for him? That unsettling question caused Hailey’s eyes to pop open. Where did that come from? Me, falling in love with him? Oh, yeah, it can totally happen. She felt the mattress shift as Liam slid in next to her again. She smiled at him sleepily as he turned the light out again and nestled against him as he pulled her next to him.

The next time she knew anything, it was light in her room. Looking at her alarm clock, she saw that it was time for her to get up for work. Nudging Liam, she told him she was getting up.

“Wha’? Oh, that’s right, you’re working today. Take your shower and I’ll make breakfast for us.”

Hailey leaned down and gave him a quick kiss before she got out of bed. Ouch! Her muscles protested as she walked to the chair where her robe was draped.

“Oh, ow! Okay.”

“What’s wrong?” asked Liam.

“I’m sore from last night,” Hailey said with a grimace. “I think the only thing that’ll help is a hot shower and drinking water today.”

Liam got out of bed. “I’m sorry! If I’d know you would get sore . . . “

“Cut it out. I wanted it just as much as you did . . . I had just as much fun. I’ll be okay, I just need to soak, then walk it out,” Hailey said. She walked carefully to the bathroom, favoring her hip and leg muscles.

Liam got dressed and started breakfast – coffee and French toast. While the egg-soaked slices of bread sizzled in the olive oil, he found the butter, syrup and powdered sugar.
